《法国中尉的女人》的多重性

　　约翰·福尔斯是在世界文坛上享有盛名的英国作家,他的名作《法国中尉的女人》因其在叙事艺术成功探索,而在世界范围产生了广泛持久的影响。作品在批判维多利亚时代的虚伪基础上,传递和宣扬了福尔斯的存在主义自由观,对传统文学采取继承并试图超越的态度,通过多角度的叙事视角和叙事结构,形成了独具特色、丰富多彩的叙事艺术。正是基于此,本文着重从叙事视角、叙事结构和主题等方面评析福尔斯《法》后现代主义的多重性特点。本论文分为五个部分:引言部分回顾了《法》的创作背景、作者约翰·福尔斯的生平和作品以及国内外对《法》的接受状况和研究状况,并说明本论文的选题理由及批评立场。第一章:多角度的叙事视角。本章详细介绍文中传统的、现代主义的和后现代主义的叙事视角。福尔斯摒弃单一叙事视角,创造性地借助独特的多角度视角叙事,这也是福尔斯尝试在传统中寻求超越的明证和后现代主义审美特征多重性的具体表现。第二章:多重的叙事结构。福尔斯在小说中表层结构沿用传统的整一结构,构成比较完整的线性叙事结构,但在深层结构上却三次中断其整一的结构,从而形成具有后现代特征的断裂深层叙事结构。同时值得关注的是叙事拼贴。福尔斯在每一章之前都有一、两段...
