城市与农村高中生英语阅读策略使用现状的对比研究

【摘要】:阅读在语言学习中的地位引起了人们的广泛重视。然而,学习者会在阅读过程中遇到许多困难,学生的阅读障碍直接影响了他们综合语言能力的发展,因此,需采取有效措施改善目前的英语阅读现状。而得当地应用阅读策略就是一个关键因素。近年来,许多学者纷纷开始研究高中生英语阅读策略的应用情况,而把城市与农村学生英语阅读策略做对比的研究却为数不多。基于此,本研究以渭南市的一所城市高中和一所农村高中的220名学生作为研究对象,调查他们的英语阅读策略使用情况,并使用SPSS19.0软件分析所收集到的数据。目的是通过对比研究,找出两类学生之间存在的异同,以便有针对性地提出培养高中生阅读水平的方法。本文的研究结果如下:城市与农村学生在元认知策略、认知策略及社交情感策略三方面均有显著性差异,农村学生的三类策略使用水平均低于城市学生。而且,两类学校学生的元认知策略都最为薄弱。在同性别的城市与农村学生英语阅读策略的使用差异比较方面,城市女生与农村女生,城市男生与农村男生在三类策略及总策略方面均有显著性差异。且城市男女生的各项策略均分别高于农村男女生。通过本研究,我们可以得出以下结论:第一:在策略使用水平方面,农村高中较城市高中低。而且在三项策略中,两类学校学生的元认知策略最差。第二:同性别的两类学校学生在三项策略方面存在显著性差异。总的来说,农村男女生的策略水平分别低于城市男女生。第三:农村学生阅读策略水平差异性高于城市学生,即农村学生的阅读策略水平参差不齐。这就要求教师多关心那些基础差的学生,帮助他们找到有效的学习方法,同时提高他们的学习能动性和兴趣。
[Abstract]:Reading in the language learning status has aroused extensive attention. However, the learners will encounter many difficulties in the process of reading, reading disabled students directly affects the development of their comprehensive language ability, therefore, need to take effective measures to improve the current situation of English reading. But the local application of reading strategies is one of the key factors. In recent years, many scholars have begun to use English Reading Strategies of high school students, and put the city and rural students' English reading strategies do comparative research is few. Based on this, this research takes 220 students in a high school in Weinan city and a rural high school as the research object. A survey of English reading strategies they use, and the collected data were analyzed by SPSS19.0 software. The purpose is through the comparative study, find out the differences between the two groups of students, in order to Put forward the method of cultivating reading level of senior high school students. The results of this study are as follows: the city and rural students in metacognitive strategies, cognitive strategies and social affective strategies have significant differences in three aspects, the three kinds of strategies of rural students use levels were lower than the city students. Moreover, two types of school students' Metacognition Strategies are the most weak. In the same sex city and rural students use different reading strategies between city and rural girls, girls, boys and boys in rural city has three kinds of strategies and strategies significantly. The strategy and city of male and female students were higher than rural students. Through this study. We can draw the following conclusions: first, in terms of the level of strategy use, a high school in rural high school city low. And in three strategy, two types of school students' metacognitive strategy is the worst. Second: sex two kinds of students have significant differences in the three strategies. In general, the strategy level of male and female students were lower than those of the rural city of male and female students. Third: strategy level difference is higher than the city students rural students' reading, namely the level of rural students' reading strategies is uneven. This requires teachers to pay more attention to those students poor foundation, to help them find effective learning methods, improve their learning initiative and interest.
