批判性阅读在高中英语阅读教学中的实证研究

【摘要】:英语阅读是高中英语教学的重要组成部分之一。对于以汉语为母语的学生来说,阅读是增加其英语语言输入和提高其英语水平的最佳途径。然而,高中的英语阅读教学却不尽如人意,学生对被动式的英语阅读普遍持消极态度。批判性阅读是高水平的阅读,能够激发学生的主动性并提高他们的批判性阅读能力和批判性思维能力。在高中开展批判性阅读教学,不仅有助于学生阅读成绩的提高,同时也符合新课程标准的要求。本研究以建构主义理论、图式理论为基础,采用文献分析法、定量研究和定性研究相结合的方法,旨在研究批判性阅读教学能否提高当前英语阅读的现状。本文探究了三个研究问题:第一,批判性阅读能否提高高中生推理类和分析类问题的阅读分数?第二,批判性阅读能够提高高中生英语阅读兴趣?第三,批判性阅读能够促进学生的批判性思维技能?本研究对沈阳第三十一中学高二年级的两个平行班进行了对比实验研究。该实验历时一个学期。实验工具包括测试、问卷、访谈,并运用统计软件SPSS进行相关的数据分析。实验结果表明:批判性阅读教学有利于提高学生的阅读分数和阅读兴趣。另外,经过一个学期的批判性阅读教学,学生们的批判性思维技能也等到提高。虽然批判性阅读被证明有一些积极的影响,但是它在运用过程中,尤其是在高中阶段的运用仍然存在着诸多局限。因此,今后还需要对批判性阅读做更多的努力和研究。
[Abstract]:English reading is an important part of English teaching in senior high school. For native Chinese students, reading is the best way to increase their English input and improve their English proficiency. However, However, the teaching of English reading in high school is not satisfactory. Students generally have a negative attitude towards passive English reading. Critical reading is a high level of reading. It can stimulate students' initiative and improve their critical reading ability and critical thinking ability. At the same time, it also meets the requirements of the new curriculum standard. This study is based on constructivism theory and schema theory, and adopts the method of literature analysis, quantitative research and qualitative research. The purpose of this study is to study whether critical reading teaching can improve the current situation of English reading. This paper explores three research questions: first, can critical reading improve the reading scores of senior high school students in reasoning and analytical categories? Second, critical reading can increase the interest of senior high school students in reading English? Third, critical reading can promote students' critical thinking skills? This study conducted a comparative experimental study of two parallel classes in Grade 2 of Shenyang No. 31 Middle School. The experiment lasted for one semester. The experimental tools included tests, questionnaires, interviews. The experimental results show that critical reading teaching is helpful to improve students' reading scores and interest. In addition, after a semester of critical reading teaching, Students' critical thinking skills also need to be improved. Although critical reading has proved to have some positive effects, there are still many limitations in its use, especially in high school. More efforts and research on critical reading are needed in the future.
