过程体裁法在VCE EAL写作中的应用研究

【摘要】:这些年来国际化教育需求量在不断增大,国内正兴起一股“国际高中潮”,越来越多的国际高中课程被引入中国。这种新型的国际办学模式将中国高中教育和澳大利亚高中教育融为一体,引进了国际上先进的课程体系,开辟了我国高中教育体制深化改革的新思路和新途径,为我国学生进入澳洲和英联邦国家的大学学习打下了坚实的基础。这其中除了 IB、AP等传统课程外,澳大利亚的VCE(Victorian Certificate Education)课程正是近年来国内一些中学引进的众多高中课程之一。VCE是澳大利亚历史最悠久的高中证书课程之一。长期以来,受应试教育的影响,学生缺乏英文写作动机和写作兴趣,英文写作能力差强人意,在VCEEAL写作方面更是存在明显的不足,具体表现在遣词造句、衔接手段、观点架构以及文体把控上。本文结合VCE EAL写作的要求,探索了过程体裁写作法在EAL写作教学中的应用及相关问题:1.如何提升学生的EAL写作的语言、结构、观点质量,使其词句准确优美,行文架构科学,内容充实完整?2.如何提高学生对EAL作文体裁的掌控能力,使其在应对不同体裁的写作任务时,能够有效组织出恰当的语篇结构?3.如何在EAL教学中充分调动学生的主观能动性,增强他们的写作动机和信心?本研究将过程体裁法运用于EAL写作课堂,对南京市某外国语学校VCE 12年级某班的学生进行实验研究。这部分同学已放弃国内高考,希望通过VCE成绩申请澳洲或其他英语国家大学,其中EAL成绩是学生申请大学的重要考查条件。作者通过问卷调查、访谈、前测、后测、数据统计与分析等一系列研究手段,经过近八个月的教学实验,作者获得了以下发现:过程体裁写作法转变了传统的教学观念,适合EAL写作课程的特点;过程体裁写作法激发了学生对EAL写作的兴趣,提高了学生写作能力;过程体裁写作法真正做到了“以学生为本”,不仅强调了 “生生互动”,还注重“师生互动”。本研究虽然取得了一些成果,但并没有因此结束。在今后的教学实践中,本人仍要进一步探索适合中国学生学习EAL课程的教学法,期待能从实践层面把VCEEAL课程的优点借鉴到国内传统的英语课堂上,真正做到“洋为中用”,“中西合璧”。
[Abstract]:The demand for international education has been increasing in recent years. There is an "international high school tide" in China, and more international senior high school curriculum is introduced into China. This new international mode of running a school integrates Chinese high school education with Australian high school education, introduces the international advanced curriculum system, and opens up new ideas and new ways to deepen the reform of our country's senior high school education system. It has laid a solid foundation for our students to enter universities in Australia and Commonwealth countries. In addition to the traditional courses such as IBM AP, the VCET Victorian Certificate Education course in Australia is just one of the many senior high school courses introduced by some middle schools in China in recent years. VCE is one of the oldest high school certificate courses in Australia. Under the influence of examination-oriented education for a long time, students lack English writing motivation and interest, their English writing ability is unsatisfactory, and there are obvious shortcomings in VCEEAL writing, which are embodied in the choice of words and sentences and cohesive devices. View structure and stylistic control. According to the requirements of VCE EAL writing, this paper explores the application of process genre writing method in EAL writing teaching and the related question: 1. How to improve the quality of language, structure and viewpoint of students' EAL writing, make its words and expressions accurate and beautiful, structure scientific, content full and complete. How to improve students' ability to control EAL writing styles so that they can effectively organize appropriate discourse structure when dealing with different writing tasks of different genres. How to fully mobilize students' initiative in EAL teaching and enhance their writing motivation and confidence? In this study, the process approach was applied to EAL writing class, and an experimental study was carried out on a class of VCE 12 in a foreign language school in Nanjing. This group of students have given up the national college entrance examination and hope to apply for Australian or other English-speaking universities through VCE scores, among which EAL score is an important test condition for students to apply for university. Through a series of research methods, such as questionnaire, interview, pre-test, post-test, data statistics and analysis, the author has made the following findings after eight months of teaching experiments: the process genre writing method has changed the traditional teaching concept. It is suitable for the characteristics of EAL writing course, the process genre writing method has aroused students' interest in EAL writing and improved students' writing ability, the process genre writing method has really achieved "student-oriented", not only emphasizing "student interaction", but also improving students' writing ability. Also pay attention to the interaction between teachers and students. Although this study has achieved some results, it has not ended. In the future teaching practice, I still need to further explore the teaching method suitable for Chinese students to study EAL course. I hope to learn the advantages of the VCEEAL course from the practical aspect to the traditional English classroom in China, so as to truly "make foreign things work in China". A combination of Chinese and Western.
