《诗经·国风》英译中的互文性研究

众所周知,翻译涉及两种语言及两个文本之间的转换。在此过程中,考虑到不同文化的译本才能被读者接受。译者要考虑文化因素,就要学习其他文本,这个过程就是互文活动,那么翻译也是一个互文的过程。本文将此理论运用到中国古典诗歌《诗经·国风》的英译研究中,旨在促进诗歌翻译研究及拓宽诗歌翻译研究的角度。作者选取互文性理论中的外互文与内互文分类,分析理雅各译本、汪榕培译本、杨宪益与戴乃迭译本,指出《诗经·国风》中的元素在不同篇目中构成外互文关系,同一篇目中的元素构成内互文关系。通过对《诗经·国风》三个译本的对比分析,笔者发现称谓、民俗、星象、句法以及声音等多个层面中均存在互文性。通过分析文本中的词汇、短语、句子及诗歌结构、诗歌韵律等,发现三个译本的不同之处:理雅各的译本主要采用直译的翻译策略,传达原文意义,但是他的译文造成了文化的缺失。汪榕培的译本主要采用意译的翻译策略,在上述多个层面,较好地考虑到互文性在源语和目的语之间的体现。此外,他适当的对互文印迹进行取舍,并灵活处理,较完整地体现了译者在互文性翻译中的阅读、阐释和改写。杨宪益与戴乃迭的译本,主要采用直译加注释的翻译策略,以注释的形式建立源语与目的...
