[Abstract]:On March 15, 1999, the second session of the Ninth National people's Congress passed the contract Law of the people's Republic of China. The contract Law shall be divided into general principles, sub-rules, and by-laws, with a total of 23 chapters and 428 articles. As of October 1, 1999, the Economic contract Law, the Foreign Economic contract Law, and the Technical contract Law will be repealed at the same time, ending the long-standing tripartite stand in the field of contract law.
