[Abstract]:The Environment Committee of the European Parliament passed a series of proposals to reform the European Union's carbon trading system (ETS) by 53 votes to 5.The draft is more radical than the EU's earlier proposal.Including 2021-2030, the total amount of carbon emissions will be reduced by 2.4 per year, faster than the 2.2 / a reduction proposed earlier by the European Union.If more than 12 per cent of the total circulating quota is equal to 100 Mt, then 24 per cent of the annual total circulating quota will serve as a reserve to stabilize the market, double the original EU proposal (only 12m), resulting in a further reduction in the EU's carbon emission quota for 2021-2030.Price rise
