解读近代日本学者对中国建筑的考察与图像记录

【摘要】:以历史照片为主体的图像记录既是从实物角度研究建筑的佐证,也是古代与近代传承建筑的分水线。二十世纪初,1901年的紫禁城测绘开启了近代日本学者对中国建筑的实证研究,并在对中国长时间、大范围的考察中,较为全面地记录了中国的建筑及遗产,留下了大量的图像成果,反映了中国建筑在20世纪初未经修缮时的真实状况。这些图像记录在为今天的遗产保护和修缮提供了翔实历史信息的同时,也见证了近代日本学者通过实证考察来研究中国建筑的全部过程。从微观上说,这些图像记录见证了近代日本学者的中国建筑观和遗产观的形成过程;从宏观上看,它们也见证了亚洲主义背景下近代日本建构中国建筑史学、和建构以中国为主体的东洋建筑史学的过程。与此同时,这些图像记录更作为一种结果参与到了亚洲主义的建构中,是近代日本学者亚洲想象的表达方式和具体体现。可以说,,近代日本建筑学者实证研究中国的历史,就是以图像记录中国建筑的历史。本论文以时间为脉络,以历史为背景,试图从图像记录的角度出发,来解明以伊东忠太和关野贞为代表的近代日本学者中国建筑观和遗产观的形成过程,以及在这个过程中同亚洲主义所发生的关联。 半个多世纪之前,日本学者对中国建筑的图像记录作为信息源和催化剂间接参与了近代中国自身建筑史学的建构。在今天,这些图像记录是遗产保护与修复中真实性的重要依据,本论文也初步涉及了这些问题。
[Abstract]:The image recording based on historical photographs is not only the evidence of studying architecture from the point of view of object, but also the waterline of ancient and modern buildings. At the beginning of the 20th century, the surveying and mapping of the Forbidden City in 1901 opened up an empirical study of Chinese architecture by modern Japanese scholars, and in the long and extensive investigation of China, it comprehensively recorded the architecture and heritage of China. Many images were left, reflecting the true state of Chinese architecture in the early 20th century when it was unrepaired. These images not only provide full historical information for today's heritage conservation and restoration, but also witness the whole process of modern Japanese scholars' empirical investigation to study Chinese architecture. From a microscopic point of view, these image records witnessed the formation of Chinese architectural and heritage views of modern Japanese scholars, and from a macro perspective, they also witnessed the construction of Chinese architectural history in modern Japan under the background of Asianism. And the process of constructing the oriental architectural historiography with China as the main body. At the same time, these image records participate in the construction of Asianism as a result, which is the expression and concrete embodiment of Asian imagination of modern Japanese scholars. It can be said that modern Japanese architecture scholars empirically study the history of China, that is to record the history of Chinese architecture with images. This thesis takes time as the context and history as the background, trying to explain the formation process of the modern Japanese scholars' view of Chinese architecture and heritage, which is represented by Yidongzhong, Taihe and Guanoteng, from the perspective of image recording. And the connection with Asianism in the process. More than half a century ago, Japanese scholars indirectly participated in the construction of modern Chinese architecture history as a source of information and catalyst. Today, these image records are the important basis for the authenticity of heritage protection and restoration.
