“创业时代”如何保障新闻业的未来——牛津大学路透新闻研究所“未来新闻业”研究报告述评

【摘要】：近十年来经济结构和技术环境的变化引发新闻工作和劳动方式发生剧烈变革,新闻业进入"创业时代"。当一体化的大机构被分散的小公司取代,新闻工作会发生怎样的变化?从机构雇员走向独立创业,新闻人的专业认同将如何调整?基于共同经验的新闻专业又该如何维系?针对上述问题,牛津大学路透新闻研究所展开关于"未来新闻业"的长期研究,对"创业时代的新闻业"相关讨论进行综述,并就"新闻人如何看待行业未来"进行大规模问卷调查。研究结果认为,机构聘用岗位的减少并不一定是危机,也可能新闻业到了需要做出必要调整的关键时刻;一线新闻人也并不像观察家所指责的那么固步自封,他们已经意识到新闻工作会更艰辛、更少机构支持、更强调个人品牌、也更不稳定,但却并没有很消极地看待新闻业作为一项专业实践的未来。但要是想维持新闻业的长远发展,研究者呼吁,构建出更适应创业时代的专业主义和更有效力的支持体系势在必行。
[Abstract]:The changes of economic structure and technological environment in the past ten years have led to drastic changes in news work and labor style, and the news industry has entered an "era of entrepreneurship". How will journalism change when large, integrated institutions are replaced by small, fragmented companies? From institutional employees to independent entrepreneurs, how will the professional identity of journalists be adjusted? How can journalism, based on shared experience, be maintained? In response to these questions, the Reuters Institute of Journalism at Oxford University has launched a long-term study on "Future Journalism," summarizing the discussion on "Journalism in the Age of Entrepreneurship." And a large-scale questionnaire survey on how the news person views the future of the industry. The findings suggest that the decline in institutional hiring is not necessarily a crisis, and that journalism may be at a critical point in making the necessary adjustments, and front-line journalists are not as complacent as observers claim. They have realized that journalism can be harder, less institutional, more personal, less stable, but not very negative about the future of journalism as a professional practice. But if the long-term development of journalism is to be maintained, researchers call for a more professional and effective support system that is more suited to the era of entrepreneurship.
