多样中华性：从南澳华人社团看华人身份的运用

【摘要】：随着澳大利亚白澳政策的废除以及中国改革开放政策的施行,澳洲华人数量极大增长。在过去的几十年里,随着华人数量的增长以及多样化,华人社团也得到了迅猛发展。虽然学术界一直热衷于研究海外华人的身份问题,但之前的研究多关注于外因和个人经历对“华人性”的影响,关于海外华人如何运用“华人性”的研究仍比较鲜见。本文以南澳首府阿德莱德地区华人为案例,结合相关理论,探讨海外华人的身份认同和运用问题。本文主要通过文献参考、个体访问以及个案研究收集相关研究资料。在梳理和分析实地收集而来的南澳地区华人社团宪章、会刊、相关报道等文献资料和采访实录的基础上,聚焦于南澳以“华人性”为基础组成的各类华人社团,深入分析这些社团如何服务于华人的各类利益。本文在梳理了基本概念、介绍理论框架和南澳地区华人社区基本情况之后,主要探讨华人社团所运用的“华人性”、这些华人社团主要的宗旨和目的、以及分析这些社团所面对的受众和所处的情势对于身份运用的影响。本文在分析之后得出,“华人性”既是多层次也是多方面的；运用何种“华人性”以及如何运用取决于当地华人的利益诉求、所面对受众以及所处情势。本文跳出传统的民族国家理论框架,将海外华人视作灵活的身份运用者,为研究海外华人的身份认同提供了新的视角,也为海外华人身份认同相关理论的完善提供了参考。本文所揭示的海外华人身份认同及运用与他们利益诉求之间的密切关系以及海外华人社团的活动场域和作用,无论是对我国侨务工作的开展还是南澳政府“南澳-中国合作战略”的施行都有一定的参考价值。
[Abstract]:With the abolition of Australia's White Australia policy and the implementation of China's reform and opening up policy, the number of Chinese in Australia has increased tremendously. In the past few decades, with the growth and diversification of the number of Chinese in Australia, The Chinese community has also developed rapidly. Although the academic community has always been keen to study the identity of overseas Chinese, previous studies have focused on the influence of external causes and personal experiences on the "Chinese character." There are few studies on how overseas Chinese make use of "Chinese nature". This paper takes the Chinese in Adelaide, the capital of South Australia, as a case study, and discusses the identity and application of overseas Chinese in combination with relevant theories. Individual visits and case studies collect relevant research materials. On the basis of combing and analyzing the documents and interviews of the Chinese community charter, journals, relevant reports and other related reports collected from the field, Focusing on all kinds of Chinese societies based on "Chinese nature" in South Australia, this paper analyzes in depth how these associations serve the interests of Chinese people. After combing the basic concepts, introducing the theoretical framework and the basic situation of the Chinese community in South Australia, this paper mainly discusses the "Chinese character" used by the Chinese community, the main purpose and purpose of these Chinese communities. And analyze the influence of the audience and the situation of these societies on the use of identity. After the analysis, it is concluded that "Chinese character" is not only multi-level but also multi-sided; What kind of "Chinese nature" to use and how to use it depends on the interest demand, the audience and the situation of the local Chinese. This paper jumps out of the traditional framework of nation-state theory and regards the overseas Chinese as a flexible user of identity, which provides a new perspective for the study of the identity of overseas Chinese. It also provides a reference for the improvement of the relevant theories of overseas Chinese identity. This paper reveals the close relationship between overseas Chinese identity and its application and their interest demands, as well as the field and function of overseas Chinese community activities. It has certain reference value for the development of overseas Chinese affairs in China and the implementation of the Nanao-China Cooperation Strategy of the South Australian Government.
