【摘要】：清代阳湖派中,恽敬与张惠言齐名,但二者的文风并不相似。张惠言以"瑰丽"、"渊雅"称,恽敬则以"峭洁"为主。后者"从子家入,由史家出",取《史记》之"洁"、法家之"峭",在"义法"的统摄和粘合下,融铸生成"峭洁"。它以追求凌厉的辞气、尖锐斩绝的力度、深窄的文境与意旨、气体的省净纯洁为主要美学内涵。在碑志文中,恽氏又自觉地将史体、史法、史意注入其中,辅之以法家辞气,最终生成一种以史传化为显著特征的新碑志体。这种新碑志,既是恽敬"峭洁"文风的典型代表,又是其古文价值的最高呈现。
