至平实至奇:由“手炉”看《红楼梦》日常物象的叙事功能

【摘要】：在《红楼梦》中,作者常以日用起居内的寻常物象为道具,来完成一种"至平,实至奇"的叙事构造,"手炉"就是典型的一例。作为日常器具,"手炉"很早便成为叙事文本的特写对象,并承担一定的叙事功能。但在《红楼梦》中,作者对其进行了更为功能化、专属化的处理,通过再现若干主要人物之于"手炉"的个性化语言、行动,构造出一种特殊情态,使读者可借以窥察人物在特定时空环境和人际场域内的心理情绪。同时,"手炉"在控制话语时长、调节叙事节奏等方面也发挥了积极的作用。
[Abstract]:In A Dream of Red Mansions, the author often uses the ordinary objects in daily use as props to complete a narrative structure of "the most flat, the real and the most strange", and the hand stove is a typical example.As a daily instrument, hand stove has long been the feature of narrative text and has certain narrative function.But in A Dream of Red Mansions, the author deals with it in a more functional and exclusive way, and constructs a special modality by reproducing the individualized language and actions of some of the main characters in the "hand stove".So that readers can peek at the psychological emotions of the characters in specific spatio-temporal environment and interpersonal field.At the same time, the hand stove also plays an active role in controlling the length of the discourse and adjusting the narrative rhythm.
