桐城派与北京大学

【摘要】：桐城派是中国文学史上最大流派,北京大学是中国最高学府。在中国从传统向现代转型中,桐城派与北京大学相遇。数十年间,桐城派学者中西兼综,以中体西用为指归,主张在变革中有所保留,理解、支持五四运动,建设现代学科,为缔造北京大学的民主、科学、学术自由和兼容并包的传统作出了不朽贡献;北京大学也以其巍峨地位,为桐城派的发展及其新生代的成长提供了契机。桐城派与北京大学互相映发,互相成就,"阐旧邦以辅新命",协力推进着中国的现代化事业,锻铸着中华民族的新的精神。
[Abstract]:Tongcheng School is the largest school in the history of Chinese literature, Peking University is the highest institution in China.In the transition from tradition to modernity in China, Tongcheng School and Peking University met.For several decades, scholars of Tongcheng School, both Chinese and Western, pointed to the use of the Chinese style and the west as their reference, and advocated that they should have reservations, understand and support the May 4th Movement, and build modern disciplines in order to create democracy and science in Peking University.The tradition of academic freedom and inclusion made immortal contributions, and Peking University, with its majestic status, provided an opportunity for the development of Tongcheng school and the growth of the new generation.Tongcheng School and Peking University made mutual achievements, "expounding the old state with the aid of new orders", working together to promote China's modernization cause, forging the new spirit of the Chinese nation.
