问题驱动教学法在高中英语阅读教学中的应用
[Abstract]:Reading ability is one of the basic skills that English learners must master, especially with the increase of reading scores in the college entrance examination, its position in senior high school English teaching has become more and more prominent, and the reading teaching mode has been studied more and more widely. There have been many theoretical studies and practices based on problem-driven teaching method at home and abroad, but the concrete application of this model in senior high school English reading teaching is still rare. Problem-driven teaching method is a kind of teaching mode centered on problem solving, and it is a popular teaching method in the world at present. This model teaches students to think and solve problems in order to understand, master and apply knowledge. The essence of problem-driven teaching method lies in giving full play to the guiding role of problems in the learning process and arousing students' initiative and enthusiasm. Through problem-driven, learn to analyze, think, explore, evaluate, achieve the completion of the task, to improve learning ability. Problem-driven teaching method is also an effective method to improve reading teaching. This paper discusses the application of problem-driven teaching method in high school English reading teaching. On the basis of understanding and analyzing the problem-driven teaching method and the relevant theories of English reading teaching, the author tries to apply this teaching method to the English reading teaching of Senior two in Liuyang No. 1 Middle School from September 2012 to June 2013. The purpose of this paper is to improve the English reading ability of the sophomore students. A questionnaire survey was conducted among 45 senior English teachers and 320 sophomore students. In order to verify the effect of teaching experiment, two classes (experimental class and control class) were selected to carry out a one-year teaching experiment. Research tools include performance tests, questionnaires and interviews. The results show that the problem-driven approach can stimulate the students' reading interest and improve their English reading ability more effectively than the traditional reading method. The introduction of this thesis introduces the background of PBL and the necessity of applying PBL to English reading teaching in senior high school. Chapter one focuses on the research and development of this theory at home and abroad in recent years and puts forward the feasibility of applying PBL in English reading teaching in senior high school. The second chapter focuses on the internal relationship between PBL and constructivism and critical thinking, and introduces in detail the definition, characteristics, basic steps and how to set up the PBL, which is also the theoretical basis of this study. The third chapter describes the research design, research process, statistical analysis of the survey data and teaching cases. The fourth chapter describes the experimental results and main findings, and puts forward targeted teaching suggestions. The results of this study show that the use of problem-driven teaching method in senior English reading teaching is an effective teaching method. It not only meets the requirements of the times, but also accords with the thinking characteristics of senior high school students. It is helpful to stimulate students' interest in reading. Improve students' autonomous learning ability, improve students' reading comprehension and English thinking ability. It is hoped that this study can provide some references for the teaching of English reading in senior high schools in the new period.
