高中英语语法教学现状及对策研究

【摘要】:高中英语语法教学一直是英语教学中的焦点问题,对于这个重大理论问题,广大教师与学生一直困惑于语法学习到底多大程度上制约着英语学习。必须承认,长期以来语法教学花费了教师和学生大量的时间与精力但收效甚微。虽然一直以来都有专门的语法教学课程但学生仍经常在口语、写作和阅读理解中犯语法错误,换言之语法教学并没有提高学生的语言水平。实际上问题并非在于语法教学本身而在于我们所采取的语法教学方式。因此教师与学生都迫切地寻求最佳的教学方法以提高语法学习的效率。本研究在前人相关研究的基础上,以语法教学理论及二语习得理论为基础,采取了文献法、问卷调查法、访谈法、课堂观察等研究方法对高中英语语法教学进行了相应的研究。研究的问题主要包括语法教学在英语学习中的作用,英语语法教学的现状以及合适的语法教学模式。对搜集的材料进行整理与分析后,本研究有以下几个发现。(1)虽然大部分学生认为,语法学习在英语学习中起着重要的作用,但他们的语法水平自信度不高,普遍觉得自己的语法知识掌握不牢固。(2)学生更渴望教师提供相应的语境,在教师的引导下进行思考与讨论,在互动过程中学习语法。(3)学生期待教师在语法课堂中适当使用母语,以帮助他们理解语法概念,此外学生希望教师能在必要的时候借助板书进行讲解与操练,而不是一味的使用PPT等呈现语法规则。
[Abstract]:English grammar teaching in senior high school has always been the focus of English teaching. For this important theoretical issue, teachers and students have been confused about the extent to which grammar learning restricts English learning. It must be admitted that grammar teaching has spent a lot of time and energy on teachers and students for a long time, but with little effect. Although there have always been special grammar teaching courses, students still often make grammatical mistakes in oral, writing and reading comprehension. In other words, grammar teaching does not improve students' language level. In fact, the problem is not grammar teaching itself, but the grammar teaching method we adopt. Therefore, both teachers and students urgently seek the best teaching methods to improve the efficiency of grammar learning. On the basis of previous studies, based on grammar teaching theory and second language acquisition theory, this study adopts literature method, questionnaire survey method, interview method, classroom observation and other research methods to study English grammar teaching in senior high school. The main problems studied include the role of grammar teaching in English learning, the present situation of English grammar teaching and the appropriate grammar teaching mode. After sorting out and analyzing the collected materials, the following findings are made in this study. (1) although most students think that grammar learning plays an important role in English learning, their self-confidence in grammar level is not high. It is generally felt that their grammar knowledge is not firmly mastered. (2) students are more eager for teachers to provide the corresponding context to think and discuss under the guidance of teachers. Learning grammar in the process of interaction. (3) students expect teachers to use their mother tongue properly in grammar class to help them understand the concept of grammar. In addition, students hope that teachers can explain and practice with the help of blackboard when necessary. Instead of blindly using PPT and other rendering syntax rules.
