象牙塔里有高墙——基于大学生高等教育体验的质性研究

【摘要】:中国高等教育进入大众化发展阶段,大学生数量不断增加,许多精英式高等教育时期与大学无缘的学生现在获得了进入大学的机会。但是,地区、阶层、民族和性别等社会结构因素在大学中筑起高墙,不同背景的学生具有不同的高等教育体验。地区形成物理空间的差异,校区所在位置和学校能够提供的教育资源不同;阶层形成社会空间的差异,学生家庭拥有的经济资本、社会资本、文化资本总量不同,各种资本的组合方式也不同,导致大学生在调整不满意的报考结果,思考学什么、为什么而学的问题上存在差异;民族形成以语言为主的文化资本差异,引发学生学业困境,影响他们的民族身份认同。性别成为扎根于身体的社会结构,影响着学生在未来学业、职业和生活中的角色定位。优化相关高等教育政策、改善高校组织与管理方式以及改进教师教育教学,有助于弥补这些差异,为背景不利学生提供更多支持。
[Abstract]:Chinese higher education has entered the stage of mass development and the number of college students has been increasing. Many students who did not have a chance to enter the university in the period of elite higher education have been given the opportunity to enter the university. However, social structural factors, such as region, class, nationality and gender, build walls in universities, and students from different backgrounds have different experiences of higher education. The difference in the physical space between the regions, the location of the campus and the educational resources that the school can provide, the differences in the social space between the social strata, the total amount of economic capital, social capital, and cultural capital owned by the students' families, The combination of various kinds of capital is also different, which results in college students' differences in adjusting the unsatisfactory results, thinking about what to learn and why they are learning, and the difference of cultural capital formed mainly in language among ethnic groups, which leads to the students' academic difficulties. Influence their national identity. Gender has become a social structure rooted in the body, which affects the role orientation of students in their future studies, careers and life. Optimizing the policies of higher education, improving the organization and management of colleges and universities, and improving the teaching and learning of teachers will help to make up for these differences and provide more support for students with unfavorable backgrounds.
