麻省理工学院教师的教学责任及其保障机制

【摘要】：麻省理工学院追求卓越教学的办学理念成就了其世界一流大学和一流本科教育的声誉。麻省理工学院的办学理念将教学责任作为教师最基本的学术责任,并与科研责任、社会服务责任相互协同、相互促进。麻省理工学院教师的教学责任主要体现在持续推进教学改革、坚持教研结合、追求卓越的教学质量等三个方面。实践中,麻省理工学院通过教师聘任与薪酬制度的引导、教学支持机构的保障、教学评价制度的激励,以及教学文化的熏染保障和落实教师的教学责任。
[Abstract]:MIT's philosophy of excellence in teaching has achieved its reputation as a world-class university and a top-class undergraduate education. The idea of running a school of MIT regards the responsibility of teaching as the most basic academic responsibility of teachers, and the responsibility of scientific research and social service is mutually coordinated and mutually promoted. The teaching responsibility of MIT teachers is mainly reflected in three aspects: continuing to promote teaching reform, insisting on the combination of teaching and research, and pursuing excellent teaching quality. In practice, MIT adopts the guidance of teacher employment and salary system, the guarantee of teaching support institutions, the encouragement of teaching evaluation system, the influence of teaching culture and the implementation of teachers' teaching responsibility.
