华盛顿大学英才生提前入学计划研究

【摘要】:随着社会的进步,知识经济发展进程大大加快,人才的数量和质量与国家综合国力的关系越来越密切,因而英才生的竞争变得越来越激烈。英才教育(gifted and talented education)作为一种特殊的教育形式,其对象为在特定领域具有杰出才能的学生,这种教育形式在知识经济飞速发展的今天变得愈发重要。如何对英才生进行充分的研究和有效的教育已不仅仅是个人、家庭的问题,而是关系到整个民族命运的问题。如何培养英才生,找到适合他们的、有针对性的教育模式,应该引起各国人民的普遍重视。美国是全球经济最发达的国家之一,也是全球英才教育开展最早、发展最为完善的国家,其国内对于英才教育的各种保障(如:英才教育法规、专设教师、教育研究机构、研究资料及论文等的建设)都是世界领先的。在各项立法的基础上,经过近几十年的发展,美国的英才教育取得了显著的成绩,仅提前入学一项计划就培养出了大批杰出人才。相比较而言,中国的英才生教育存在以下不足:起步晚,选拔制度不完善。相较于美国的英才教育,中国英才教育还存在较大的差距,而人才又是各个国家紧缺的资源,所以我们有必要借鉴美国,吸收美国英才教育的经验,提高我国英才教育的发展水平,从而为培养创新型人才创造条件。本研究以个案分析为切入点,对华盛顿大学提前入学计划的相关内容进行提炼、概括,着力于对该计划的具体实施过程进行个案研究。研究内容主要包括以下部分:第一部分为导论,提出研究问题以及对国内外相关研究文献进行综述,并界定概念明确研究范围,在此基础上提出研究设计,包括研究的问题与目的、理论与方法以及论文的写作结构;第二部分对美国华盛顿大学英才教育的发展过程、背景和原因做了详细论述,从而从整体上把握英才教育;第三部分先介绍美国华盛顿大学提前入学的两个计划,主要包括以下几个方面:入学条件、师资条件、课程设置、学生管理等方面,使对华盛顿大学提前入学计划有全面了解,宏观上把握提前入学计划的来龙去脉,再对华盛顿大学提前入学计划的特点进行概括总结;第四部分为对华盛顿大学提前入学计划影响和成效的评述,在与其他学校的比较的基础上找出其优势和可能存在的不足;第五部分结合我国英才生培养的现状,提出符合我国国情的对策建议,从而我国现有的中国科技大学和西安交通大学少年班等的管理和运作提供经验,从长远来看也有利于我国人才培养和选拔。
[Abstract]:With the progress of society, the development of knowledge economy is greatly accelerated, and the quantity and quality of talents are more and more closely related to the comprehensive national strength of the country, so the competition of talented students becomes more and more fierce. As a special form of education, (gifted and talented education) is aimed at students with outstanding talents in specific fields. This form of education has become more and more important in the rapid development of knowledge economy. How to carry on the sufficient research and the effective education to the talented student is not only the individual, the family question, but relates to the entire nation destiny question. How to train the talented students and find a suitable and targeted education model should be paid more attention to by the people all over the world. The United States is one of the most developed countries in the world. It is also one of the earliest and most perfect countries in the world for the education of talented people. The construction of research materials and papers etc.) is the world's leading. On the basis of various legislations, after the development of recent decades, the United States has made remarkable achievements in the education of talented people, and a large number of outstanding talents have been trained only in advance of entering a program. In contrast, China's talent education has the following shortcomings: late start, selection system is not perfect. Compared with the United States, there is still a big gap in the education of talented people in China, and talent is a scarce resource in various countries. Therefore, it is necessary for us to learn from the United States and absorb the experience of American talent education. To improve the development level of our country's talents education, thus creating conditions for the cultivation of innovative talents. This study takes case analysis as the breakthrough point, abstracts and generalizes the relevant contents of the early admission program of the University of Washington, and focuses on the case study of the concrete implementation process of the program. The research contents mainly include the following parts: the first part is the introduction, puts forward the research question and carries on the summary to the domestic and foreign related research literature, and defines the concept to clear the research scope, then puts forward the research design on this basis, The second part discusses in detail the development process, background and reasons of the gifted education of the University of Washington in the United States, so as to grasp the education of the talented as a whole. The third part first introduces two plans for early admission of the University of Washington in the United States, mainly including the following aspects: admission conditions, teachers' conditions, curriculum design, student management, etc., so that we can have a comprehensive understanding of the early admission plan of the University of Washington. Macroscopically grasp the background of the early admission plan, and then summarize the characteristics of the early admission plan of the University of Washington. The fourth part is a review of the impact and effectiveness of the early admission plan of the University of Washington. On the basis of comparison with other schools, it finds out its advantages and possible shortcomings. The fifth part combines with the current situation of the cultivation of talented students in our country, and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions in line with the national conditions of our country. Therefore, the management and operation experience of the existing Chinese University of Science and Technology and the juvenile class of Xi'an Jiaotong University are also beneficial to the training and selection of talents in our country in the long run.
