梅贻琦通才教育思想研究与启示

【摘要】:随着高等教育的快速发展,“通识教育”频繁地出现在我国教育研究者的视野中。自1999年开始,我国高等教育开始扩大招生,逐步进入大发展阶段。21世纪之后,我国一些大学开始在本科阶段实施“通识教育”,主要途径有“通识教育选修课”和“通识教育人才培养模式”,但无论是何种形式的探索,我国高等教育中通识教育的实践都面临着重重困难和挑战。因此,深入研究通识教育,并借鉴前人实践的成功经验,对于当代通识教育的发展和实践具有重要意义。梅贻琦,民国时期通才教育思想的实施者,是近代大学中具有极大影响力的一位校长。他的通才教育思想首先在清华大学进行了实践,并取得了不错的成效,促进了清华大学的发展。他的通才教育思想与当代通识教育思想在教育理念上如出一辙,都体现了对于全人教育的重视。研究近代梅贻琦的通才教育思想及其实施过程,有利于更好地指导当代通识教育的发展。因此,文章首先通过文献研究法、历史研究法对梅贻琦通才教育思想的形成与发展、主张与内涵、实践与经验等方面的内容进行了整体分析与总结。其次,通过访谈、案例研究、比较研究等研究方法掌握了当代高等教育中通识教育发展现状以及存在的一系列问题。最终,通过对于梅贻琦通才教育思想的研究和学习,探索出适合当代高等教育发展的道路,为当代高校更好地实施通识教育,培养全面发展的人才做出理论与实践方面的准备。
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of higher education, general education appears frequently in the field of view of educational researchers in China. Since 1999, China's higher education has begun to expand its enrollment and gradually enter the stage of large-scale development. After the 21st century, some universities in China began to implement "general education" at the undergraduate stage. The main ways are "elective course of general education" and "talent training mode of general education". However, no matter what form of exploration, the practice of general education in higher education in China faces many difficulties and challenges. Therefore, it is of great significance for the development and practice of contemporary general education to study the general education deeply and draw lessons from the successful experience of previous practice. Mei Yiqi, the implementer of the general education thought in the Republic of China, was a principal with great influence in modern universities. His general education thought first carried on the practice in Tsinghua University, and achieved the good result, promoted the development of Tsinghua University. His general education thought is the same as the contemporary general education thought, which embodies the importance of all-people education. The study of Mei Yiqi's general education thought and its implementation process is helpful to guide the development of contemporary general education. Therefore, the paper firstly analyzes and summarizes the formation and development of Mei Yiqi's general education thought, its propositions and connotation, practice and experience through the methods of literature research and historical research. Secondly, through interviews, case studies, comparative studies and other research methods, we have mastered the current situation and a series of problems in the development of general education in contemporary higher education. Finally, through the research and study of Mei Yiqi's general education thought, this paper explores the way suitable for the development of contemporary higher education, and makes theoretical and practical preparations for the better implementation of general education and the cultivation of all-round development of talents in contemporary colleges and universities.
