【摘要】：学生事务管理是大学管理中的重要环节，对大学运行与发展具有不可或缺极其重要的影响。美国高等教育规模、质量均领先于世界，其高效的学生事务管理功不可没。美国大学中体量最大的是州立大学，其学生事务管理在美国大学中具有典型意义。美国州立大学学生事务管理伴随着州立大学的发展，形成了学习辅导、生活服务、就业指导等方面较为完备的制度与体系。研究美国州立大学学生事务管理，对处于“管理”到“服务”转型时期的我国大学学生事务工作具有重要的意义，美国州立大学学生事务管理的经验对我国大学学生事务工作具有重要的借鉴价值。本论文以密歇根州立大学、怀俄明大学和印第安纳州立大学三所高校为研究对象，运用了文献研究、比较研究、案例研究等研究方法，从理念及目标、组织架构、实际运作三方面，对美国州立大学学生事务管理进行了系统研究。研究发现，美国州立大学学生事务管理以“以学生为中心”，重视学生“全人发展”为理念，，为学生营造优质的学习环境，为学生提供人性化的服务及支援。美国州立大学学生事务管理的组织机构扁平化，条状运行。各部门独立设置，职能清晰。学生事务管理内容涉及招生录取、注册登记、咨询服务、医疗服务、食宿服务、学生活动、经济资助、职业咨询等方方面面。工作人员岗位设置根据职务要求配备，专业化程度较高。借鉴美国州立大学的经验，论文认为：处于转型时期的我国高校学生工作应该大力强化服务意识，优化管理组织，提升服务能力，助推高校的发展与质量的提升。
[Abstract]:Student affairs management is an important link in university management, which has an indispensable and extremely important impact on the operation and development of universities. The scale and quality of higher education in the United States are ahead of the world. The most effective student affairs management in the United States is the state university. Student affairs management in American universities is of typical significance. With the development of state universities, student affairs management forms learning guidance and life service. The study of student affairs management in American state universities is of great significance to the university student affairs work in China during the transition period from "management" to "service". The experience of student affairs management in American state universities has important reference value to the work of college student affairs in our country. In this paper, Michigan State University, Wyoming University and Indiana State University as the research object, the use of literature research, comparative research, case studies and other research methods, from the concept and objectives. This paper studies the management of student affairs in American State University in three aspects: organizational structure and practical operation. The study found that the student affairs management of American State University takes "student-centered" and "whole-person development" as the concept, and creates a high-quality learning environment for students. Provide humanized service and support for students. The organization of student affairs management in American state university is flat and striped. The departments are set up independently and their functions are clear. Student affairs management involves enrollment and admission. Registration, counseling, medical services, accommodation services, student activities, financial assistance, career counseling and other aspects. Drawing lessons from the experience of American State University, the paper holds that in the period of transition, the college student work in our country should strengthen the service consciousness, optimize the management organization, and enhance the service ability. Promote the development and quality of colleges and universities.
