大学英语教师对教师角色的认识与自我评价

【摘要】:教师作为角色身份的出现原于美国社会心理学家乔治·米德首先将其引入社会心理学,并创立了角色理论。所谓“教师角色”是指处在教育系统中的教师所表现出来的由其特殊地位决定的符合社会对教师期望的行为模式。分析教师的角色,明确教师自己的角色身份,对教师充分地扮演好教师角色就具有积极的意义。在过去,人们从不同的角度已经给教师冠以诸多美名,如蜡烛、园丁、人类灵魂的工程师等等。然而,随着时代的发展,社会的进步,特别在当今的信息时代,人们对教育观的提升,这些美名逐渐退色。重新反思教师的角色将成为转变教师的教学观念,当好新时期新教师的首要任务。 随着社会的进步和新的英语教学法的引入,教师的角色经历了巨大的改变,,从传统的以教师为权威的角色到教师作为反思性实践者和改革性的智者。本文以问卷形式,从师生关系、基本英语教学观念、课堂互动、教学设计、学生思维方式的培养、与生活相关的活动这六个方面调查了大学英语教师对教师角色的看法以及自我评价,并对两者进行了相关分析。 调查结果显示大部分教师赞同教师在新环境下所应扮演的角色,但是在实际教学中大部分教师做不到这些行为。并且教师的角色观念不会因为性别、教龄和学历而产生区别。本文希望通过对大学英语教师教师角色观念与行为的调查来理清大学英语教师对自己所扮演的角色的认识并促进大学英语教师角色的转变。
[Abstract]:The emergence of a teacher as a role came about when George Mead, an American social psychologist, first introduced it into social psychology. The so-called "teacher role" refers to the behavior pattern of the teachers in the educational system, which is determined by their special status and accords with the expectation of the society to teachers. It is of positive significance for teachers to fully play the role of teachers. In the past, people have named teachers from different angles, such as candles and gardeners. The engineers of the human soul, etc., however, with the development of the times, the progress of the society, especially in the information age, people promote the education view, Rethinking the role of teachers will become the primary task of changing teachers' teaching concept and becoming a good new teacher in the new period. With the development of society and the introduction of new English teaching methods, the role of teachers has undergone tremendous changes, from the traditional role of teachers as authority to teachers as reflective practitioners and reform of the wise. This paper investigates college English teachers' views on teachers' roles and their self-evaluation from six aspects: teacher-student relationship, basic English teaching concept, classroom interaction, teaching design, cultivation of students' thinking style, and activities related to life. The correlation between them is analyzed. The results of the survey show that most teachers agree with the role teachers should play in the new environment, but in practice most teachers cannot do these behaviors, and teachers' role concepts are not based on gender. This paper hopes to clarify college English teachers' understanding of their own roles and promote the change of their roles through the investigation of teachers' role concepts and behaviors.
