文化资本对高等教育机会获得的影响研究
[Abstract]:In today's society, the gap between the various strata of Chinese society is gradually widening. Education, especially higher education, is an effective way to change one's own destiny, narrow class gap and improve social status. Therefore, the issue of equal opportunities in higher education is getting more and more attention. Equality of opportunity in higher education runs through the whole process of higher education, including access to education, educational process and equity of educational outcome. From the perspective of cultural capital in social stratum, this paper studies and discusses how the gap of cultural capital affects the access of higher education opportunities. At the same time, the paper analyzes the deep reasons why cultural capital affects the access to higher education opportunities, and puts forward appropriate suggestions to reduce the impact. This article mainly carries on the analysis from the following several aspects: first is the introduction part, mainly elaborated this article research background and the research significance, introduced the domestic and foreign research present situation, and elaborated this article research method. The second part is the theoretical basis. Firstly, some important concepts in this paper are defined, such as cultural capital, social stratification and so on. Secondly, this paper briefly introduces the domestic and foreign theories about cultural capital, especially Bourdieu's theory of cultural capital. He pointed out that culture constitutes the symbol of different classes and strata in society, and entering this class stratum must obtain such cultural capital to interpret the symbol. Therefore, culture constitutes the cultural division between different classes and strata of society. He believes that the cultural and spiritual differences of different classes constitute a symbol of their identity and status. Thirdly, it is the main part of the article, which expounds the present situation of the opportunity of higher education under the view of social stratification, and the influence of cultural capital on the opportunity of higher education. From the perspective of cultural capital, this paper analyzes the access to higher education opportunities and draws the conclusion that the disadvantaged groups in society are unequal in the access to higher education opportunities. The last part deeply analyzes the reasons why the cultural capital gap of different social strata has such a great impact on the access of higher education opportunities, such as institutional, inheritance, and so on. At the same time, the author puts forward corresponding suggestions for these fundamental reasons, hoping to fundamentally solve the negative impact of the gap of social stratum cultural capital on the equality of opportunities in higher education, thus promoting the fairness of higher education.
