藏族人口教育中的性别差异探析

【摘要】:统计发现,新中国成立后藏族女性的教育地位逐年大幅提升,与男性间的差异有所下降,但其受教育水平一直低于同族男性。多元统计结果显示:(1)城市藏族女性的教育地位略高于城市藏族男性,相反,农村藏族女性的教育地位明显低于同族男性;(2)家庭人均收入每增加一单位,藏族女性受教育的年限就增加;(3)女性的受教育机会更容易受其父亲学历程度的影响。研究结论认为,城乡差别、家庭收入以及父母学历等社会因素对藏族女性教育机会的影响远远大于对同族男性的影响。在城市或经济条件较好的藏族家庭中,女性的受教育机会与男性没有差别,但在农村或贫困藏族家庭中,女性受教育机会明显少于男性。因而,若要消弭藏族教育中的性别不平等,应从改善农村或贫困家庭的经济收入和人文环境入手。
[Abstract]:Statistics show that after the founding of New China, the educational status of Tibetan women has increased significantly year by year, and the difference between the Tibetan women and men has decreased. However, their educational level has always been lower than that of their male counterparts. Multiple statistics show that the educational status of urban Tibetan women is slightly higher than that of urban Tibetan males. On the contrary, The educational status of Tibetan women in rural areas is obviously lower than that of their male counterparts. (2) for every unit of family income per capita, the number of years of schooling for Tibetan women increases by 3%) the educational opportunities of women are more likely to be affected by their father's degree of education. Social factors, such as urban-rural differences, family income and parental education, have a much greater impact on Tibetan women's educational opportunities than on their male counterparts. In urban areas or in Tibetan households with better economic conditions, Women's access to education is no different from that of men, but in rural areas or in poor Tibetan families, women's access to education is significantly lower than that of men. Therefore, if we want to eliminate gender inequality in Tibetan education, We should start with improving the economic income and humanistic environment of rural or poor families.
