基于语境的小学英语词汇教学实践研究

【摘要】:词汇是组成句子和文章的基本单位,是语言学习的基本要素;离开了词汇,语言就成了“无本之木、无源之水”。但是,由于小学生还没有掌握良好的学习习惯,面对枯燥的词汇,往往“败”下阵来;因此,越来越多的教师在实际教学中不断探索新的词汇教学方法,其中,基于语境的词汇教学方法能使枯燥乏味的词汇教学变得生动有趣,更好地调动小学生的学习热情,正逐步得到教师的欢迎。基于以上背景,本文针对小学阶段英语词汇的语境教学方法进行研究。本研究以语境词汇教学法理论为依据,采用问卷调查、实验法收集数据,分析小学英语词汇教学中存在的问题,并针对问题实施基于语境的词汇教学法。根据小学生在实验过程前后的学习方法、学习态度、心里感受及测试成绩变化,总结分析语境教学方法实验的效果和特点。教学实践中,作者结合小学生学习特点,通过课堂教学中的课件设计,从语境创设、词汇联系、表演活动及延伸阅读等多个环节,充分发挥创造性,巧用直观的视觉形象等创设可视语境,提高学生英语学习兴趣和主动性;通过在词汇操练和词汇测试中贯彻词汇语境理论,帮助学生利用语境学习掌握和运用词汇,促使学生树立正确的词汇学习态度。研究表明:基于语境的词汇教学可激发小学生词汇学习的兴趣;对提高小学生的词汇掌握和应用能力有明显地促进作用,学生词汇测试成绩有明显提升;采用基于语境的词汇教学法与学生成绩提升呈正相关。因此,语境词汇教学对小学生词汇学习是一个有效的方法,为小学生英语词汇学习和语言能力的持续提升提供了新途径。
[Abstract]:Vocabulary is the basic unit for making up sentences and articles, and is the basic element of language learning. Without vocabulary, language becomes a "wood without root, no source of water". However, since pupils have not mastered good study habits, In the face of boring words, they often "lose"; therefore, more and more teachers are constantly exploring new vocabulary teaching methods in practical teaching, among which, The context-based vocabulary teaching method can make the boring vocabulary teaching lively and interesting, and better mobilize the pupils' enthusiasm for learning, which is gradually being welcomed by the teachers. Based on the above background, Based on the theory of contextual vocabulary teaching, the present study is based on the theory of contextual vocabulary teaching, collects data from questionnaires and experiments, and analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of English vocabulary in primary schools. According to the learning methods, attitude, feeling and test results of the primary school students before and after the experiment, the teaching method of vocabulary based on context is applied to solve the problems. This paper summarizes and analyzes the effects and characteristics of the experiment of context teaching methods. In teaching practice, the author combines the learning characteristics of primary school students, through the courseware design in classroom teaching, from the aspects of context creation, vocabulary connection, performance activities and extended reading, etc. In order to improve students' interest and initiative in English learning, they should give full play to their creativity and create visual context with intuitive visual images, and carry out the theory of lexical context in vocabulary practice and vocabulary testing. To help students master and use vocabulary by using context, and to promote students to establish a correct attitude towards vocabulary learning. The study shows that context-based vocabulary teaching can stimulate pupils' interest in vocabulary learning; It can obviously promote the students' vocabulary mastery and application ability, improve the students' vocabulary test scores, and adopt the context-based vocabulary teaching method to improve the students' scores. Therefore, there is a positive correlation between the teaching methods and the improvement of students' scores. Contextual vocabulary teaching is an effective method for primary school students to learn English vocabulary and provide a new way to improve their English vocabulary learning and language ability.
