思维导图在职业中学英语阅读中的应用

  在通常情况下,读者通过阅读完成语篇的解读和意义的构建,而大部分在校学生也是通过阅读完成英语学习。然而,对于缺乏英语学习兴趣和有效阅读策略的职业中学学生来说,阅读是他们的拦路虎,难以完成语篇解读和意义构建,阅读首先是他们难以逾越的障碍。因此,有必要尝试一种新的、有效的英语阅读方法。思维导图作为将知识形象化的图形表示工具,在激发学生的学习兴趣和促进学生主动解读语篇方面发挥着重要的作用。通过大量文献阅读,研究者发现关于将思维导图应用于英语阅读教学的研究很多,然而以职业中学的学生作为研究对象的很少。因此,本研究旨在探究思维导图在职业中学英语阅读中的应用。本研究的实验对象为某职业中学高二年级两个平行班的70名学生,实验时间为12周。在本研究中,研究者作为执教者在实验班增加思维导图辅助的阅读教学方式(即引导学生在每课前或后手绘该课的思维导图),在控制班继续采用传统的英语阅读教学方式(即讲解语法、翻译、语言点操练等)。在实验过程中,研究者引导学生应用不同的阅读策略去确定思维导图的中心词以及各分支的关键词,将思维导图应用于课前、课中和课后。基于研究目的,本实验采用定量和定性相结合的方法,通过前测、后测...
