金融发展、城镇化与城乡居民收入差距关系实证

【摘要】：基于2000—2015年中国31个省市的面板数据,运用协整检验和差分GMM估计方法实证分析了全国以及东、中、西、东北地区省域金融发展、城镇化与城乡居民收入差距之间的静态和动态关系。结果表明:全国、东、中、西和东北地区金融发展、城镇化与城乡居民收入差距存在长期均衡关系,金融发展规模、城镇化缩小了城乡居民收入差距,金融发展效率扩大了其差距。城镇化具有显著的中介效应,就全国而言,金融发展规模、发展效率影响城镇化水平,缩小了城乡居民收入差距;对于西部地区,仅金融发展效率影响城镇化水平进而缩小了其差距。从动态关系来看,城乡居民收入差距具有路径依赖,东部地区呈现扩大趋势,西部地区其差距正逐渐缩小。
[Abstract]:Based on the panel data of 31 provinces and cities in China from 2000 to 2015, this paper empirically analyzes the financial development of the whole country and the provinces in the east, middle, west and northeast using cointegration test and differential GMM estimation method. The static and dynamic relationship between urbanization and income gap between urban and rural residents. The results show that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between urbanization and income gap between urban and rural residents in the financial development of the whole country, east, middle, west and northeast. The scale of financial development, urbanization has narrowed the income gap between urban and rural residents, and the efficiency of financial development has widened its gap. Urbanization has a significant intermediary effect, as far as the whole country is concerned, the scale of financial development. The development efficiency affects the urbanization level and reduces the income gap between urban and rural residents; For the western region, only the financial development efficiency affects the level of urbanization and then narrows the gap. From the dynamic relationship, the income gap between urban and rural residents has path dependence, and the eastern region shows a trend of expansion. The gap in the western region is gradually narrowing.
