当代中国中小规模画廊发展现状研究

【摘要】:画廊是经营艺术品的主要商业形式之一,对艺术市场的发展具有重要作用。中国艺术市场经过近30年的发展,取得了明显的进步,近年来,中国艺术市场的表现颇为惹眼,2016年纯艺术拍卖更是凭借占据全球市场38%的份额跃居世界第一。我国现代画廊业起步于上世纪九十年代,起步较晚,但发展迅速,体量较大,全国目前有4000多家画廊。然而,与中国全球第一大艺术市场地位不相匹配的是,我国画廊业整体依然处于初级水平,数量虽多,但绝大部分画廊个体规模较小、画廊功能也不完善,发展不足。本文主要运用实地调研、文献分析和比较归纳的研究方法,以国内中小规模画廊为研究对象。梳理中国画廊业和艺术市场的发展历史,将中国画廊业整体分为大规模画廊和中小规模画廊进行分层研究。在现状分析和与大规模画廊对比的基础上,探讨中小规模画廊生存发展中所遇到的问题,并尝试提出一些应对策略。本文认为,民间资本薄弱、西方掌控中国艺术市场导向和发展过程中的粗放问题是导致当代中国画廊业呈现出以中小规模画廊为主体的面貌的主要原因。中小规模画廊的经营内容与其地理位置有相关性,目前发展出业态多样化的趋势,在艺术市场中具有不可替代的作用。在画廊运营的各方面、画廊与艺术家和艺术消费者的关系上,中小规模画廊和大规模画廊都有明显的差异,这些差异进一步突出了中小规模画廊的特点,但也暴露了中小画廊的问题。在发展中,中小规模画廊不仅遭遇经济、市场构成和法律法规政策等外部问题,自身还存在资金、从业人员和运营模式等问题。解决这些问题,从自身的市场定位出发,回归本土,探索符合国情的发展模式,同时回归画廊的本质,重视画廊发挥职能的基本工作,这样中小规模画廊才能长久、良性地发展下去。
[Abstract]:Gallery is one of the main commercial forms of art, which plays an important role in the development of art market. After nearly 30 years of development, China's art market has made remarkable progress. In recent years, the performance of China's art market is quite eye-catching, and the 2016 pure art auction is ranked first in the world with a share of 38 percent of the global market. China's modern gallery industry started in the 1990s and started late, but it has developed rapidly and has a large volume. At present, there are more than 4000 galleries in China. However, what does not match with the position of the world's largest art market in China is that the art gallery industry in China is still at the primary level, with a large number of galleries, but most of the galleries are small in scale, imperfect in their functions and inadequate in their development. This article mainly uses the field investigation, the literature analysis and the comparative induction research method, takes the domestic small and medium scale gallery as the research object. Combing the development history of China's gallery industry and art market, the whole Chinese gallery industry is divided into large-scale galleries and small and medium-sized galleries for stratification research. Based on the analysis of the present situation and the comparison with the large-scale galleries, this paper discusses the problems encountered in the survival and development of the small and medium-sized galleries, and tries to put forward some countermeasures. This paper argues that the weakness of folk capital and the extensive problems in the process of western control of Chinese art market are the main reasons for the contemporary Chinese gallery industry to take the small and medium-sized galleries as the main body. The management content of small and medium-sized galleries is related to their geographical location. At present, the trend of diversification of the business forms has played an irreplaceable role in the art market. In all aspects of gallery operation, the relationship between galleries and artists and art consumers, there are obvious differences between small and medium-sized galleries and large-scale galleries. These differences further highlight the characteristics of small and medium-sized galleries. But also exposed the problem of small and medium galleries. In the process of development, small and medium-sized galleries not only encounter external problems such as economy, market structure and laws, regulations and policies, but also have problems such as capital, employees and operation mode. To solve these problems, to set out from their own market positioning, to return to their native land, to explore the development mode that is in line with the national conditions, to return to the essence of the gallery, and to attach importance to the basic work of performing the functions of the gallery, so that the small and medium-sized galleries can last a long time. Develop healthily.
