“是-应当”问题与现代道德哲学——对安斯库姆《现代道德哲学》的一种解读

【摘要】：休谟提出的"是-应当"问题在安斯库姆对现代道德哲学的批判中占有重要的地位。安斯库姆反对休谟在这一问题上的看法,认为可以通过"显白的事实"从"是"中推出"应当"。但她接受休谟的动机理论,而这一理论给她的推导带来了巨大的挑战。为了回应这一挑战,安斯库姆不自觉地引入了关于动机的内在主义和外在主义之分。她最终得出的结论是从"是"中可以推出日常意义上的"应当"而推不出道德意义上的"应当"。这使得她最终主张抛弃道德意义上的"应当"而回到日常意义上的"应当",回到德性伦理学中的概念上来。
[Abstract]:Hume's question of "is-should" plays an important role in Anskum's criticism of modern moral philosophy. Anskum disagrees with Hume's view on this issue, and argues that "should" can be deduced from "yes" by "obvious facts". But she accepts Hume's theory of motivation, which poses a huge challenge to her reasoning. In response to this challenge, Anskum unconsciously introduced the distinction between internalism and externalism about motivation. Her final conclusion is that the "should" can be deduced from the "yes", but not the "should" in the moral sense. This led her to abandon the moral sense of the "should" and return to the daily sense of "should", back to the concept of moral ethics.
