“君子”观念的理论反思

【摘要】:"君子"作为一种观念,在历史发展过程中形成了一定的理论体系。就人性论基础而言,君子观念既可以建基于人性善论,也可以从人性恶论出发。以人性善论为前提,成为"君子"意味着"由君子之道行",而以人性恶论为前提,成为"君子"则意味着"行君子之道"。无论是"由君子之道行"还是"行君子之道",都离不开具体的行动工夫,二者的区别在于,"由君子之道行"偏向的是人们发掘自己的"君子之端"并在实际生活中表现出来,君子是由内而外的"推致"而成;"行君子之道"更加强调要人们只有遵守了社会礼法的规矩,才能够成为"君子",这是一种"约束"意义上而造就的"君子"。作为一种"符号","君子"的本质意义在于人格理想的信念,这一信念,既是对于优良品性的信念,也是对于现世人生的乐观信念。在一定的政治社会里,"君子"是共同体优秀而杰出的成员,既能担负引领社会前进的职责,也是共同体成员的楷模与榜样,"君子"也因而具有了政治哲学的意义。
[Abstract]:As a kind of concept, the "gentleman" has formed a certain theoretical system in the course of historical development. On the basis of the theory of human nature, the concept of a gentleman can be based on either the theory of human nature or the theory of evil. Taking the theory of human nature as the premise, becoming a "gentleman" means "following the way of a gentleman", while taking the theory of human nature evil as the premise, becoming a "gentleman" means "doing the way of a gentleman". Whether it is the way of a gentleman or the way of a gentleman, it cannot be separated from concrete action. The difference between the two is that, "by the way of the gentleman" bias is that people discover their own "end of the gentleman" and show it in real life, the gentleman is from inside to outside "push" and become; "the way of Superior Man" emphasizes that only when people abide by the rules of social etiquette and law, can they become "gentlemen", which is a kind of "gentleman" in the sense of "restraint". As a kind of "symbol", the essential meaning of "gentleman" lies in the belief of personality ideal, which is not only the belief of good character, but also the optimistic belief of life in the world. In a certain political society, the "gentleman" is the outstanding and outstanding member of the community, who can not only take the responsibility of leading the society forward, but also the model and example of the members of the community. Therefore, the "gentleman" has the significance of political philosophy.
