[Abstract]:On February 27, 2017, Companion Elsevier, a publishing company, released the 2016 list of most Cited Chinese Researchers, a highly cited Chinese scholar.The list is available on the China website of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Elsevier. The 2016 list of highly cited Chinese scholars is based on the methodology and standards developed by Shanghai Ranking Consulting, a Shanghai-based soft science education information consulting company.Based on objective citation data, the influence of Chinese researchers in the world is systematically analyzed.As a partner, Elsevier provides data support and technical implementation for the research on the list. The data for the 2016 list of highly cited Chinese scholars came from the Scopus database, Scopus, owned by Elsevier.
