【摘要】： 唐代的宦官之祸在中国古代史上为害很烈,表现在:唐代宦官的权力大、宦官专权时间长,专权程度深,对唐代历史造成了深远的影响。唐代宦官专权的形成与唐玄宗和安史之乱密切相关。唐玄宗是唐代第一位重用宦官的君主,在唐玄宗的重用下,宦官开始干政。但是,宦官真正的形成一股势力在政治上呼风唤雨则是在安史之乱后。安史之乱爆发,极大地冲击了君臣关系,君臣关系趋于恶化。为了应对日益紧张的君臣关系,在平叛战争中君主启用自己的家奴——宦官来监督平叛将领,以防他们拥兵自重,反叛中央朝廷。为了加强皇权,中唐后君主一般都重用宦官,委之以重权,如禁军统领权、监军权、枢密大权等。在一定程度上,宦官起到了维护君权的作用。但不可否认,宦官干政加深了政治上的黑暗。宦官凭借君主授予的权力擅权,必然和皇帝、朝臣发生冲突。在唐代中后期的政治舞台上,这三股政治力量之间的关系呈现出错综复杂的态势。皇帝和朝官对宦官的态度影响着宦官专权和宦官干政的程度。皇帝和宦官之间基本上是相互依存的关系,但二者之间也经常产生矛盾,宦官恃权跋扈威胁到了君权,促使君主除宦,结果因人而异,因势而异。由于立场的不同,朝官和宦官之间更多的是冲突对抗。唐后期,始终存在着南衙北司的斗争,与此同时,朝官和宦官也有相互援引相互利用的一面。晚唐,随着藩镇势力壮大,朝臣与藩镇联手,才从根本上解决了宦官专权,但历史也翻到了新的一页。
