明熹宗经筵日讲述论

【摘要】：明熹宗的经筵和日讲,在制度层面上执行得相对完备。从即位初直到临死前,他都未中断对这一制度的承继和执行,可谓勤学之主。然而,另一方面,熹宗对经筵日讲徒重形式,轻视内容。由于他整天痴迷木工匠艺,注重线条和形状,故对经筵的形式感十分在意,对讲官的礼仪差错相当敏感,却对经筵日讲的内容心不在焉,从未见其在讲堂上与讲官讨论问题,更未将所学内容施诸政事,成为受教育时间多而成效甚小的奇怪典型。
