慈善与枷锁:论宋代地主对农民的救济

【摘要】：在宋代,由于土地制度的变化,引起了社会阶层的剧烈分化和社会贫富差距的急剧扩大,从而促使乡村社会的救济活动兴盛起来,而地主对农民的救济又是宋代乡村社会救济事业中的主体活动和主要表现。地主通过各种方式开展对农民的救济,包括赈灾救荒和济贫恤穷两大部分。地主开展对农民的救济,是积德修善、求取平安、收取租息、提高自身的社会地位和声望以及维持生产的稳定和继续等多种因素共同作用的结果。同时,地主对农民的救济对农民来说是一把双刃剑,其一方面纾解了农民的困难,但另一方面却给农民套上新的枷锁,它使农民背负上难以摆脱的债务问题以及权利对地主的让渡。
[Abstract]:In the Song Dynasty, because of the change of the land system, it caused the sharp differentiation of the social stratum and the sharp expansion of the gap between the rich and the poor, which promoted the relief activities of the rural society to flourish. The relief of landlords to the peasants was the main activity and main manifestation of the rural social relief in Song Dynasty. The landlords carried out relief to the peasants in various ways, including the relief of famine relief and the relief of the poor and the relief of the landlords to the peasants. It is the result of various factors, such as building morality, seeking peace, collecting rent, improving one's own social status and prestige, and maintaining the stability and continuation of production. At the same time, the relief provided by the landlord to the peasants is a double-edged sword for the peasants. On the one hand, it alleviates the peasants' difficulties, but on the other hand, it puts new shackles on the peasants, which makes them bear the inextricable debt problem and the transfer of rights to the landlords.
