明代诤臣吴廷举二三事

【摘要】：正明朝可以说是中国历史上宦官当道、阉党横行最为严重的时期。这一时期也出现了很多忠臣、诤臣,著名的如方子深、方孝孺、黄子澄、于谦、沈炼、海瑞、袁承焕等人。但是明代中期著名诤臣吴廷举,明史亦有其传,却少有人知晓。1.官场正气吴廷举(1459—1525年),字献臣,号东湖。明英宗天顺三年(1459年)出生于梧州凤凰山(今冰泉冲卫校附近)。其先祖系湖广嘉鱼(今湖北武昌)人。明洪武年间遣戍九江,再调广西苍梧,遂系籍于梧州。父名俊,母黄氏,吴廷举从小过继大伯父吴英为嗣。吴英早亡,继母骆氏以洗衣缝纫度日,将吴廷举抚养成人。吴廷举刻苦治学,读书过目不忘,下笔顷刻立就。明宪宗成化十年(1474年),吴廷举16岁乡试中举;二十三年,29岁会试中进士。初授广东顺德知县时,巡察湖
[Abstract]:The Zheng-Ming Dynasty was the most serious period in Chinese history for eunuchs and eunuchs.
