【摘要】：正黄至筠是个园的主人。关于他的姓名、字号、生平、籍贯,历来众说纷纭。例如,关于他的姓名,《扬州市志·个园》说是"两淮盐业总商黄至筠",《中国历史文化名城词典·个园》说是"两淮商总黄应泰",各种文献中又时常出现诸如黄潆泰、黄瀛泰、黄银泰、黄永泰、黄均太等相似的名字。关于他的籍贯,《梵天庐丛录》说是"武林黄氏",《两淮盐商轶闻录》说是"晋人也",《黄个园家传》说是"甘泉县人",《扬州画苑录》则说是"本浙人,后移入甘泉籍",还有人说他是山西人、安徽人等。最奇怪的是《盐商与扬州》一书第二
