【摘要】：在第三波民主化浪潮之下,民主一方面在世界各地取得形式上的成功,另一方面也在许多地区造成动荡与混乱。《民主的精神》和《起火的世界》分别从积极和消极角度,向我们展示民主的复杂面相。民主本身具有复杂性,当它与种族问题和自由市场结合起来时,可能造成严重的社会分裂,因此,处在政治转型期的国家应当将民主化视作一项循序渐进而不可操之过急的系统工程。
[Abstract]:In the third wave of democratization, democracy has achieved formal success in all parts of the world, and on the other hand it has caused turbulence and chaos in many areas. "The spirit of democracy" and "the world of fire", respectively, show us the complex face of democracy from the positive and negative angles. Democracy itself is complex. When it is combined with race problem and free market, it may cause serious social division. Therefore, in a transitional period, democracy should be regarded as a systematic project which is gradual but not urgent.
