【摘要】：正关于西方自由民主制度,有一种流行见解:该制度弹性十足,不管谁上台,结果都差不了多少。过去几十年间,这种观点貌似可以解释西方国家为何发达,但近年来的现实发展呈现出越来越多的反例。当前,眼见美欧国家因为选不出好的领导人或选出不好的领导人而陷入重重危机,一些人仍然固执地坚持这种见解。这种见解之所以广泛流行,其实是受到西方思维中一个常见谬误的误导,这个谬误就是:倒果为因。简言之,制度主要是一种结果,而非一种
[Abstract]:As far as western liberal democracy is concerned, there is a popular view that the system is resilient, and no matter who comes to power, the result will not be much worse. Over the past few decades, this view seems to explain why the West has developed, but the reality of recent years has shown an increasing number of counter-examples. Some are still stubbornly sticking to the current crisis in the US and Europe as they fail to elect good or bad leaders. The widespread popularity of this view is, in fact, misguided by a common fallacy in western thinking, which is the result of the fallacy. In short, institutions are primarily a result, not a result.
