汉传佛教慈善思想与实践的历史演进

【摘要】：汉传佛教慈善思想与实践的演进大致可以划分为四个历史阶段,即从佛教传入中国至晚唐,晚唐至晚清,民国时期和建国后至今。隋唐佛教中国化完成后,佛教的慈善思想基本形成。宋以降佛教慈善实践在佛教世俗化背景下,随着社会经济、政治和文化的发展而做出适应性调整,佛教慈善在佛教弘法利生过程中的地位不断提升,显现出制度化、规模化和地方化等特征,持续至晚清外来文化的介入方始终结。民国时期人间佛教逆势中兴,在佛教慈善思想和实践两方面都有建树,建国后人间佛教继续发展,但佛教慈善思想和实践发展一波三折,逐渐边缘化,改革开放后,相关研究和实践逐渐增多。
[Abstract]:The evolution of philanthropic thought and practice of Han Buddhism can be divided into four historical stages, namely, the introduction of Buddhism into China to the late Tang Dynasty, the late Tang Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty, the period of the Republic of China and the present after the founding of the people's Republic of China. After the Sinicization of Buddhism in Sui and Tang dynasties, Buddhist philanthropy thought was basically formed. Under the background of Buddhist secularization, the practice of Buddhist charity in Song Dynasty made adaptive adjustment with the development of social economy, politics and culture. The status of Buddhist charity in the process of Buddhism spreading Dharma for life continued to improve and appeared to be institutionalized. The characteristics of scale and localization lasted until the introduction of foreign culture in the late Qing Dynasty. During the period of the Republic of China, human Buddhism flourished against the trend and made achievements in both Buddhist philanthropy thought and practice. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, human Buddhism continued to develop, but Buddhist philanthropy thought and practice developed twists and turns, gradually marginalized, after reform and opening up. There is a gradual increase in relevant research and practice.
