【摘要】：本文在国内外学者研究的基础上，对吐蕃沙州都督进行了新的探索，，指出吐蕃沙州都督军政机构中地位显赫，设正副二职，是沙州节儿之重要僚性，一般由吐蕃人或汉族世家大族担任。诸都督中以杜氏父子、安氏、索氏、张氏都督最有名气。
