宗教信仰的代际传递:基于台湾地区的数据分析

【摘要】：基于台湾社会变迁调查数据(1999-2009),本文描述并分析了我国台湾地区宗教信仰在父母与子女间的代际传递模式,并以此为出发点来讨论基督教传统之外宗教流动的模式与逻辑。本文有四点主要发现:首先,信仰的代际传递存在着明显的性别差异和宗教(教派)差异。整体而言,母亲对子女的信仰选择影响较大。但对基督徒家庭而言,父亲对子女的影响更大。当父母信仰相同时,该信仰的传递性显著增强。其次,不同宗教的传递能力存在显著差异。道教的传递能力更强,这与西方理论对于弱组织性宗教传递率低的预期相悖。再次,不同宗教之间的距离影响着子辈信徒的流动模式。基督教与其他宗教之间的距离最大,而无宗教信仰与其他宗教间的距离最小。最后,台湾地区的社会变迁历史造就了不同信仰在时期、世代和年龄分布上的明显差异。
[Abstract]:Based on the survey data of social change in Taiwan from 1999 to 2009, this paper describes and analyzes the intergenerational transmission model of religious beliefs between parents and children in Taiwan. And as a starting point to discuss the pattern and logic of religious flow outside the Christian tradition. This paper has four main findings: first of all. There are obvious gender differences and religious (sectarian) differences in the intergenerational transmission of beliefs. On the whole, mothers have a greater influence on the choice of beliefs of their children, but for Christian families. Father has greater influence on children. When parents believe in the same faith, the transitivity of the belief is significantly enhanced. Secondly, there are significant differences in the transmission ability of different religions. Taoism has a stronger transmission ability. This is contrary to the western theory's expectation of low transmission rate of weakly organized religions. Thirdly, the distance between different religions affects the flow pattern of children. The distance between Christianity and other religions is the biggest. The distance between non-religious belief and other religions is the least. Finally, the history of social change in Taiwan has resulted in significant differences in the period, generation and age distribution of different beliefs.
