佛教善书民俗的动物保护意义

【摘要】：善书的发展有着悠久的历史,而善书作为一种民俗形式,在古代中国社会发展中在维持社会稳定,劝导社会民众行善心、做善事等方面发挥着积极的作用。善书作为一种民俗读物,有“宝卷”、“功过格”、“故事集”等形式,这三种形式各有其特点,对于传播善的观念,促进大众善行具有重要意义。善书民俗在其发展过程中与宗教相结合,形成了道教善书与佛教善书。道教善书及佛教善书,都是自身宗教的思想与善书民俗形式相结合,目的是能够更好地劝诫社会民众行善心、做善事。佛教善书民俗中蕴含着丰富的“戒杀”“放生”内容,对于动物保护有其自身的优势和积极的意义。本文正文部分总共分为六章。第一章绪论,主要阐述研究课题的背景和意义、相关概念界定、学术界研究现状及趋势、研究方法和创新点。第二章阐述佛教善书的定义和内容,佛教善书的发展过程,编辑与传播、形式与特点。第三章阐述佛教善书的动物保护内容有着深厚的佛教传统思想基础,主要包括“因果报应观”“功德观与福田观”“慈悲观”“众生平等观”。第四章阐述佛教善书民俗的动物保护实践,佛教善书中蕴含着丰富的“戒杀”内容,主要包括对一般野生动物、昆虫等微小动物、家养动物等的“戒杀护生”,针对不同的人和不同的场合的劝诫;而“放生”内容则是从放生的种类、时间、场所、组织、效用等方面来论述。第五章阐述佛教善书民俗动物保护的优势,主要包括社会教育优势、社会规范优势、编订、印制优势、宣讲、传播优势等方面。最后一章结语,总结了整篇文章的主要内容和佛教善书内容在当代动物保护实践中的参考和借鉴价值。
