《山海经》与原始宗教信仰初探

【摘要】：《山海经》的内容颇为复杂,涵盖了地理、物产、宗教、祭祀、神话……等不同性质的材料,因此,我国历代对此书的归类有所不同,近年来,学者们通过研究发现《山海经》的内容保存了许多先民们的巫术崇拜与宗教信仰。和我国盛行的佛教、道教等各成系统的宗教不同,从《山海经》的成书年代来看,它所反映出来的是几千年前中国古代社会中的原始宗教信仰,本文讨论的原始宗教包括了原始社会中的动植物崇拜、图腾崇拜以及巫术信仰,正文分为三部分,从以上几个方面分别讨论《山海经》中反映出来的原始宗教信仰。首先列出《山经》中具有药用价值的动植物,分析通过服食、佩戴这些动植物治疗疾病这一行为反映出来的原始巫术思想;将动物分为征兆类和趋吉避凶两类分别分析,探讨先民们的预兆信仰以及原始巫术思想;其次通过分析神话传说中动物形象,来探讨《山海经》中的动物崇拜思想和图腾崇拜;最后将《山海经》神话中的神灵分类讨论,分析《山海经》中保留的原始的巫术仪式和图腾崇拜观念以及神灵形象演变所反映出来的社会的变化。总之,通过分析这些原始信仰,有利于我们更好地了解《山海经》,了解先民们的原始思维、了解当时的社会环境。
[Abstract]:The Shanhai Classic is complex, covering geography, property, religion, sacrifice, and mythology.In recent years, scholars have found that the contents of the Book of Mountains and Seas have preserved the witchcraft and religious beliefs of many ancestors.Different from Buddhism and Taoism, which are popular in our country, they are different from each other's systematic religions. Judging from the writing age of the "Shanhai Jing", it reflects the primitive religious beliefs in ancient Chinese society thousands of years ago.The primitive religions discussed in this paper include animal and plant worship, totem worship and witchcraft belief in primitive society. The text is divided into three parts.First of all, list the medicinal plants and animals in the Mountain Classic, analyze the primitive witchcraft thought reflected by the behavior of taking food and wearing these animals to treat diseases, and divide the animals into two categories: omen and omen.This paper probes into the foreboding beliefs and the primitive witchcraft thought of the forefathers; secondly, by analyzing the animal images in the myths and legends, it discusses the animal worship thought and totem worship in the Shanhai Classic; finally, it classifies and discusses the gods in the mythology.This paper analyzes the original witchcraft rituals and totem worship concepts retained in the Book of Mountains and Seas, as well as the social changes reflected by the evolution of the images of the gods.In a word, by analyzing these primitive beliefs, we can better understand the Shanhai Classic, understand the primitive thinking of the ancestors, and understand the social environment at that time.
