【摘要】：正本刊讯美国当地时间2月15日上午10点,著名国学家叶曼居士在洛杉矶家中安详辞世,享年103岁。叶曼,女,原名刘世纶,1914年生,祖籍湖南省。幼承庭训,6岁以《左传》开蒙,1935年被时任北大文学院院长胡适之先生特别录取,就读北大法学院经济系。中年为明了生死而学佛,先后师侍南怀瑾先生、陈健民上师。旅居美国洛杉矶期间,接触过基督教、伊斯兰教等不同西方宗教,并研学佛教、道家、儒家多年,对东方和西方文化、
[Abstract]:At 10:00 local time on February 15, famed scholar Yerman Guthrie died at home in Los Angeles at the age of 103.Ye Man, female, formerly named Liu Shilun, was born in 1914 in Hunan Province.At the age of 6, he was admitted to the Department of Economics of Peking University Law School by Mr. Hu Jiazhi, then dean of Peking University School of Arts in 1935.In order to understand life and death to learn Buddha, one after another, Mr. Huijin Nan, Master Chen Jianmin.During his stay in Los Angeles, he was exposed to different Western religions, such as Christianity and Islam, and studied Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism for many years.
