山脚下的十字架——广东揭西县棉湖镇玉石村天主教信仰的考察

【摘要】：本文通过棉湖镇玉石村的天主教会个案对宗教在当今中国乡村社会的功能作了分析和探讨。一、玉石村天主教信仰的历史溯源,主要回溯了天主教自1910年传入玉石村到20世纪70年代末的风雨历程。二、玉石村天主教信仰的现状考察,主要就玉石村目前常规的天主教的宗教活动、对玉石村天主教信徒的口述访谈、玉石村的天主教徒在年龄、文化程度与性别结构方面的差异来论述玉石村天主教信仰的现状。三、天主教信仰在玉石村发挥的社会功能,主要就天主教信仰对天主教徒及其家庭的影响、天主教信徒如何与当地具有浓郁潮汕地方特色信仰的乡民相处、天主教信仰在潮汕文化传统中的处境化、乡土化等方面看天主教信仰在当地所发挥的作用与影响,从而说明对于玉石村这个有着一百多年天主教传承历史的山村而言,天主教早已不是外来的,而是"祖传天主教",属于本土传统的信仰资源之一。
[Abstract]:Through the case of the Catholic Church in Yushi Village, Minghu Town, this paper makes an analysis and discussion on the function of religion in the present Chinese rural society. First, the history of the Catholic faith in Yushi Village is traced back to the wind and rain from the introduction of Catholicism into Yushi Village in 1910 to the end of the 1970s. Second, the current situation of the Catholic faith in Yushi Village, mainly on the current routine Catholic religious activities in Yushi Village, oral interviews with Catholics in Yushi Village. Catholics in Yushi Village are at an age. This paper discusses the present situation of the Catholic faith in Yushi Village from the differences of educational level and gender structure. Thirdly, the social function of Catholic faith in Yushi Village is mainly about the influence of Catholic faith on Catholics and their families, and how Catholics get along with local villagers with strong local characteristics of Chaoshan and Shantou. The situation of Catholicism in the cultural tradition of Chaoshan and Shantou, the localization of Catholicism, and so on, in terms of the role and influence of Catholicism in the region, thus showing that for Yushi Village, a mountain village with a history of more than 100 years of Catholic heritage, Catholicism is not foreign, but "ancestral Catholicism", belonging to the local tradition of one of the sources of faith.
