【摘要】：明末清初基督教在中国的传播是中西交流史上十分重要的历史事件。现如今,中外学者对于中国基督教的研究已取得丰硕成果,但基于中国民族志文本的基督教研究在当今学术界中仍然较少。因此,本文将从历史与现实的角度出发,针对一个基督教家庭的婚姻口述,研究基督教文化与儒家文化交汇时展现的文化张力。 为了了解历史背景,作者首先进行历史文本研究。通过对比耶稣会士神父对婚礼的刻画与《礼记》《仪礼》等经典文本对婚礼意义的阐述,论文试图挖掘两者背后隐藏的思维差异,并为主体部分江西基督教家庭的婚礼研究做铺垫。 本文基于江西省东乡县田野调查的质性研究,运用民族志、口述史方法论,结合观察法与采访两种研究方法来挖掘东乡基督教徒日常婚姻生活中所体现的文化意义。作者通过对基督教家庭三代婚礼的详细阐述与分析,提出了本文的核心问题,即在当地基督教徒的婚礼实践中,基督教信仰与中国传统儒家文化如何塑造具有当地特色的家文化；两者的互动如何体现地方性的基督教文化。 研究发现,婚礼在儒家文化与基督教文化中都起着重要作用,两者的交织造就了中国基督教家文化的多样性。一方面,儒家文化需要通过婚礼“以继后世”,另一方面,基督教文化需要通过婚礼、家族来传承、扩大信仰。因此它们各有一套礼治系统来确立婚礼的合法性。此外,儒家文化与基督教文化有各自的婚姻选择标准。而在选择过程中,中国基督教徒必须兼顾两方面标准。
