牲畜指数保险对农户牲畜销售、贷款、储蓄及未参保家禽饲养行为的影响：来自埃塞俄比亚南部Borena地区证据

　　在农业经济中,气候变化引发的风险不可避免地影响着那些依赖农业生计的农户。当冲击发生时,它不仅会减少小农户的收入,还会影响他们的农业生产和风险应对行为。在缺乏正式保险市场的情况下,农民经常使用短期的非正式的风险防范措施,如信贷、预防性储蓄和资产出售,这些措施尽管不能彻底使农户从冲击中恢复,但也能提供一定的分散风险作用。近年来,牲畜指数保险被认为是牧区管理系统性风险的一种创新的和可行的保险工具,但目前缺乏牲畜指数保险对非洲农户短期非正式风险应对措施影响的研究。因此,本文主要的研究目的是基于埃塞俄比南部Borena地区牧民家庭层面的面板数据,考察牲畜指数保险对农户牲畜销售、贷款、储蓄及未参保家禽饲养行为的影响。具体地,使用固定效应模型估计牲畜指数保险对牧民牲畜销售行为的影响,结果显示,购买保险的牧民家庭不太可能销售牲畜。根据经验,这一发现似乎对减少家庭的牲畜销售行为具有积极而显着的作用。这表明,保险可以降低牧民对可能发生的牲畜损失的担忧。因此,可以减少不必要的牲畜销售,从而维持家庭的经济增长。使用相同的计量方法,分析保险对牧民信贷行为的影响,结果表明保险对牧民家庭的贷款行为具有显著的正影响。...
