大学生批判性思维倾向与英语写作内容知识呈现策略的相关性研究

【摘要】:英语写作以其较强的综合性及逻辑性特点而成为英语教学的难点和重点。相较于中学英语写作中对写作技能本身的强调,大学英语写作更多地指向了写作内容和论证技巧的练习。学生不仅需要在大学期间提高写作能力,更应该对内容知识,尤其是对内容知识呈现策略方面进行提高。而批判性思维倾向作为一种思维力量,一直以来被认为与英语写作息息相关。因此本文聚焦批判性思维倾向与英语写作内容知识呈现策略的相互关系,利用相关性分析对二者之间具体相关情况进行探究并结合访谈内容提出建议。本研究首先分别对批判性思维倾向与英语写作内容知识呈现策略的相关文献进行收集整理、对二者的基本概念进行阐述,同时依照本研究对象选择合适的问卷进行删改,并依照已有文献提出研究假设。其次,根据研究设计中的研究方法分别对被试进行问卷调查与访谈。再次,根据本研究目的利用相关性分析对二者之间的相关性进行检测并对结果数据结果进行分析,随后结合相关性分析结果确定构建模型方式并利用回归分析进行统计。最后对访谈结果进行概括分析,并提出相应教学建议。本研究结果显示,写作者的批判性思维倾向水平与英语写作内容呈现策略的使用整体之间存在正相关关系,其中客观呈现策略、分析评价策略、概括综述策略、转述策略、理论事实策略的使用均与学生的整体批判性思维倾向呈现正相关关系;主观呈现策略、图表策略的使用则与学生的批判性思维倾向之间不具备相关性。在对批判性思维倾向与不同呈现策略发展进行回归分析之后可以看出,和批判性思维倾向存在相关性的呈现策略的发展趋势均可用回归方程对其未来发展水平进行预测。其中不同呈现策略受到批判性思维倾向水平提高的影响也不相同。访谈结果显示写作者对呈现策略的使用本身也存在局限性和使用困难,笔者根据以上结果从教学角度和重点方面对教师提出建议。
[Abstract]:English writing, because of its strong comprehensive and logical characteristics, has become a difficult and important point in English teaching, compared with the emphasis on writing skills in middle school English writing. College English writing points more to the practice of writing content and argumentation skills. Students not only need to improve their writing ability during the college period, but also should have knowledge of the content. Especially improve the strategy of content knowledge presentation, and critical thinking tendency as a thinking force. Therefore, this paper focuses on the relationship between critical thinking tendency and knowledge presentation strategies in English writing. The relevance analysis is used to explore the specific correlation between the two and some suggestions are put forward in the context of the interview. Firstly, the literature on critical thinking tendency and knowledge presentation strategy of English writing content is collected separately in this study. Set up. At the same time, according to the research object select the appropriate questionnaire to delete, and according to the existing literature to put forward the research hypothesis. Secondly. According to the research methods in the design of the study, questionnaire survey and interviews were conducted. Thirdly, according to the purpose of this study, correlation analysis was used to detect the correlation between the two and to analyze the results of the data. Then combined with the results of correlation analysis to determine the way to build the model and use regression analysis for statistical analysis. Finally, the interview results are summarized, and the corresponding teaching recommendations are put forward. The results of this study show that. There is a positive correlation between the writer's critical thinking tendency and the overall use of English writing content presentation strategies, including objective presentation strategies, analysis and evaluation strategies, summary strategies, and reporting strategies. The use of theoretical and factual strategies is positively correlated with students' overall critical thinking tendency; There is no correlation between subjective presentation strategy and the use of chart strategy and critical thinking tendency of students. The regression analysis between critical thinking tendency and different presentation strategy development can be seen. The development trend of presentation strategy with correlation with critical thinking tendency can be predicted by regression equation, and different presentation strategies are not affected by the improvement of critical thinking tendency. The results of the interview show that the writer has limitations and difficulties in using the presentation strategy. According to the above results, the author puts forward suggestions to teachers from the teaching angle and key points.
