非英语专业硕士研究生学术英语课程的需求分析

【摘要】：随着日渐深化的高等教育国际化,英语在国际交流和学习中的作用越来越重要。在高等教育国际化背景下,国际学术领域各学科的主要著作、期刊论文、研究成果等大都以英语为媒介公开发表,由此可见,需要使用学术英语的机会越来越广泛,这也为研究生学术英语课程的设置提出了要求。同时,任何课程都是建立在学生的某种需求之上的。所以,在研究学术英语课程设置过程中,运用需求分析来了解学生各方面的实际需求是极为重要的。本文采用Hutchinson和Waters的需求分析理论,用调查问卷法和访谈法,对非英语专业硕士研究生的学术英语课程的需求进行调查,试图解决以下三个问题:第一,非英语专业硕士研究生的英语课程现状如何以及学生对其满意度如何?第二,非英语专业硕士研究生的学术英语课程的需求有哪些?第三,学生的学术英语课程需求在个体因素(学校类型、专业)上是否存在差异性?通过对调查结果的分析和讨论,得出以下结论:第一,目前的英语课程不能完全满足非英语专业硕士研究生的学术英语需求;第二,非英语专业硕士研究生的学术英语课程需求有目标需求和学习需求;第三,不同学校和专业类型的非英语专业硕士研究生与学术英语课程的需求有一定差异性。对此,笔者尝试提出如下建议:首先,应根据非英语专业硕士研究生的具体需求开设。其次,尽量以学术语境中真实活动任务为主,以真实材料为主,以小班额为主,开设时间尽量从研一开始;应该将综合英语与通用学术英语结合,从而建立完善的学术英语课程体系。最后,学术英语课程的设置应考虑到学生的个体差异。最后,笔者以期本文的研究可以为我国非英语专业研究生的学术英语课程设置提出一些建议,从而可以为高等教育的发展和培养高端的英语人才作出贡献。
[Abstract]:With the deepening of internationalization of higher education, English is more and more role in international exchanges and learning more important. Under the background of higher education internationalization, the main works of international academic disciplines journals, research results are published in English, therefore, need to use English for academic opportunities more widely, this for postgraduate academic English curriculum requirements. At the same time, any courses are based on the needs of some students. So, in the study of academic English curriculum setting process, using demand analysis to understand the actual needs of the students is very important. The analysis of Hutchinson and Waters in demand by using questionnaire and interview, the academic English Course of postgraduate non English needs to be investigated, to answer the following three questions: First, how the English Curriculum of non English major graduate students and to the satisfaction of its? Second, what are the non English Major Postgraduates Academic English curriculum requirements? Third, students' Academic English course requirements for individual factors (school type, professional) whether differences exist on the analysis and discussion? The results of the investigation, the following conclusions: first, the current English curriculum cannot meet the demands of non English Major Postgraduates Academic English demand; second, non English Major Postgraduates Academic English curriculum requirements of target needs and learning needs of schools and professional; third, different types of non English Major Postgraduates and academic English course demands some differences. In this regard, the author try to put forward the following suggestions: first of all, should be set up according to the specific needs of non English major postgraduates. Secondly, as far as possible to the real task in the context of academic activities based on authentic materials, using a small amount of the main opening time to start from the research; comprehensive English should be combined with general academic English, so as to establish and improve the academic English curriculum. Finally, academic English courses should take into account the individual differences of students in order to study. Finally, the author of this paper can give some suggestions for the setting of academic English courses of graduate students majoring in English in our country, which can contribute to the development of higher education and the cultivation of English talents of high-end offering.
