【摘要】：兼类词不仅存在于中文中,也广泛存在于英文中,由于其本身所具有的特殊性,翻译过程中兼类词经常会引起读者对文本的错误理解。本翻译实践报告选取《安全管理手册》为研究文本,以其中的兼类词现象作为研究对象,结合翻译实践过程中的案例对兼类词英译进行分析,探究兼类词英译的翻译策略。《安全管理手册》作为安全管理体系文件的重要组成部分具有专业性、实用性。原文中的兼类词划分为实词、虚词两大部分,以奈达的"功能对等"理论和纽马克的"语义翻译"理论作为指导思想,研究实际情境中的兼类词英译策略。兼类词的翻译策略可以总结为:实词兼类词的翻译应保留其原本特点;虚词兼类词则应注重其语法功能上的特征。基于实用文本令本次探究更具意义,也可以引发更多关于兼类词英译实践的思考。
[Abstract]:Concomitant words exist not only in Chinese but also in English because of their particularity. The translation practice report selects the "Safety Management Manual" as the research text, and takes the phenomenon of "concurrent words" as the research object. This paper analyzes the translation strategies of concomitant words in English translation with examples in translation practice. As an important part of the security management system document, the Handbook on Security Management is professional. Practicability. The paratactic words in the original text are divided into notional words and function words, with Nida's "functional equivalence" theory and Newmark's "semantic translation" theory as the guiding ideology. The translation strategies of congenial words can be summarized as follows: the translation of notional words should retain its original characteristics; Based on the practical text, this study makes this exploration more meaningful, and it can also lead to more thinking about the translation practice of congenial words.
