IMO相关文献中被动句汉译实践报告

【摘要】：国际海事组织作为联合国的一个专门机构,主要负责海上航行安全和防止船舶造成海洋污染。中国是世界上首屈一指的海洋大国,在建设海洋强国的道路上,参读好国际海事组织(IMO)的会议精神对我们来说无疑是非常重要的。因此,海事文献的翻译工作显得同样重要。在国际海事组织(IMO)相关海事文献的翻译中,英语被动句所占的比重极大。与海事英语相关的文件、论文也倾向于高频率地使用被动语态以减少主观性并保证陈述的客观性。但由于语言习惯的不同,汉语中较少出现被动语态,因此英语中的很多被动句会在被译为汉语的过程中得到多样化的处理。同时,译文还须具有可读性和流利性,这要求译者要对源语言的意思、结构、逻辑等方面进行详实的分析。在奈达功能对等理论的指导下,现将英语被动句的译法总结归纳为以下四种:(1)翻译为汉语被动句;(2)翻译为汉语主动句;(3)翻译为汉语判断句;(4)翻译为汉语无主句。并在总体上采取直译为主,意译为辅的翻译策略,通过对专业词汇的正确把握,使译文实现专业化用词的特点。
[Abstract]:As a specialized agency of the United Nations, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) is mainly responsible for the safety of maritime navigation and the prevention of marine pollution caused by ships. It is undoubtedly important for us to read the spirit of the meeting of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The translation of maritime documents is equally important. In the translation of relevant maritime documents of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), English passive sentences account for a large proportion. The thesis also tends to use passive voice with high frequency to reduce subjectivity and ensure objectivity of statement. However, passive voice is less common in Chinese due to different language habits. Therefore, many passive sentences in English will be processed in a variety of ways in the process of being translated into Chinese. At the same time, the translation must be readable and fluent, which requires the translator to understand the meaning and structure of the source language. Under the guidance of Nida's functional equivalence theory, the translation of English passive sentences is summarized as the following four types: 1) Chinese passive sentences; Translation into Chinese active sentences; Translation into Chinese judgment sentence; In general, the translation strategy of literal translation and free translation is adopted, and the characteristics of specialized words can be realized through the correct grasp of professional vocabulary.
